About the Series

The Search for the next Superintendent of Boston Public Schools is on, and we are excited to bring you this special series of Last Night @ School Committee, which includes a podcast with community leaders in the Boston Public Schools’ community, and interviews with each of the last six superintendents, including our current superintendent, Brenda Cassellius. To prepare for this series we sent invitations to key community leaders involved in BPS, and fourteen of them joined us for interviews. Their voices and opinions are showcased in our community voices podcast, and you can also find their full interviews on this website. The views and opinions expressed in these interviews are each guest’s personal views and opinions and are reflective of their individual voice. They are not necessarily the opinions of the Shah Family Foundation. We are grateful to each individual for participating and taking the time to talk about the search for Boston’s next superintendent.
